Well, yet again, for the Nth time since the beginning of the Trump administration, extremist right wing conservatives have passed outrageous, misogynistic legislation ~ this time in Texas, where Republicans have succeeded in passing a new law effectively rendering ANY citizen a potential "bounty hunter" against women who need abortions. This horrendous law is completely subsidized by the Texas government ~ which as of September 1, 2021, will now offer financial incentives for any individual to file suit against women needing abortions, or anyone supposedly "aiding" these abortions {all the way from doctors to taxi drivers}.

This horrific mindset and it's rising prevalence is no "coincidence" ~ Experts have publicly identified Trump as a sociopath ~ and the 2016 election was rigged so that he could do exactly what he did ~ legitimize and empower all his sociopathic minions. .. And the Republicans, true to form, have now adopted that entire ideology of evil ~ racism, sexism, classicism, misogyny, and homophobia ~ as their platform now. .. And incredibly, this is their "selling point" as they try to take over the nation and force their evil sickness onto everyone else.

Perhaps in light of this, the new Texas law is not surprising. However, that does not make it any less unconscionable. It is precisely this kind of blatantly unconstitutional law ~ and the abhorrent mindset behind it ~ that threatens to drag the entire nation back into a nightmare Dark Ages of anti-women, anti-minority, and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. The people behind such laws seek to force their hateful beliefs and legislation onto not only Texas, but the rest of the nation as well. These people completely lack any conscience, ethics, morals, scruples, humanitarianism, compassion, or egalitarianism. And why is it these right wing, Republican fanatics are always fighting for the right to discriminate against, oppress, and harm others, whereas their liberal counterparts are always fighting for their own basic civil and human rights, and/or those of women, minorities, and the LGBTQ+?

I think that, as members of the LGBTQ+ community, we know all too well the inherent atrocity of this mindset ~ and what those who support it are capable of. So now, more than ever, it is a time to step up and speak out against this kind of extremist sickness in all its forms. Write to your representatives, to the President, and voice your opinions whenever and wherever possible ~ It is no exaggeration to say that the future of our nation, humanity, and the quality of our own personal existence have never been more at stake.
