It has been said this is a time of “Great Awakening”. Don’t think of it as “wokeness”, if the term troubles you. .. but as a time when, ideally, the collective Consciousness of Humanity worldwide is raised to its highest ~ when the global population as a whole becomes Enlightened, the best version of themselves. .. However, although this is the Ideal, in many ways we are currently still in the midst of a battle for the Soul of Humanity ~ a battle between Good and evil. .. Not a matter of conspiracy theories or orthodox religions ~ but simply put, a battle between the best and worst of Humanity, and of ourselves. This is a matter that concerns the LGBTQ+ Community and far beyond.

Throughout history, and even now, LGBTQ+ people are among the most persecuted and discriminated against, globally. .. Although it is True some societies are slowly coming to greater acceptance of the LGBTQ+, in many other countries, variant genders/ sexual orientations are still punishable by law. .. And it should be needless to say, it is a terrible injustice that in many parts of the world, LGBTQ+ people still have to live in fear of great persecution, violence, or even death ~ and far too often, legally so.

Indeed, at one time or another, homosexuality and other “deviations” from the “norm” have been legally criminalized in many countries ~ including the U.S. But make no mistake, it is the darkest fascism, to criminalize consenting adults for their personal decisions of what gender they are, or whom to Love, Perhaps it is a measure of the collective sanity, intelligence, and higher consciousness of nations and individuals as to how they treat LGBTQ people. Certainly, it is precisely things like the intolerance, discrimination, hatred, and violence with which the LGBTQ+ people are too often met, that must absolutely be eradicated to raise the Consciousness of Humanity, and to elevate its Existence.

In recent years, discrimination, hate mongering, and hate crimes against the LGBTQ+ Community in the U.S. have spiked. .. Certain elements of society have become homophobic, racist, misogynist, and in the extreme ~ incredibly unabashedly and openly so.

So now particularly, it is a time for the LGBTQ+ Community to step up, be supportive of one another, and of Humanity’s Great Awakening. .. And as Ever, it is a time to take solace and Pride in those we Love. This site is intended to facilitate that ~ So please, explore and feel free to post, comment, and to share your story.
